Committed to Sustainability

We are true proponents of good environmental stewardship, something that is both necessary and achievable. As many can tell you, going green is comprised of making small yet important changes in our everyday activities that, over time, add up to big accomplishments. At La Quinta Resort & PGA WEST, everyone believes in taking a proactive approach that considers the long view.

Seeking certification for each course through Audubon International’s Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary Program for Golf Courses has enabled us to assess our progress. Indeed, we are proud to announce that all six golf courses have received this vital certification for their endeavors in sustainability. The AI program focuses on several key areas: environmental planning, wildlife and habitat management, chemical use reduction and safety, water conservation, water quality management, and community outreach and education.

As always, we continue our quest to preserve the integrity of the land for future generations to come. Join us as we further our program and keep moving in the right direction. For information on Audubon International, visit auduboninternational.org.
