Poor service, dirty resort

We traveled with our family of 6 for spring break and were very disappointed with the experience. The family pool is small with no food service- you had to go online and order room service to the pool via the hotel website. This makes no sense when you have a packed resort at spring break time. The pool area itself was always dirty. Used towels, tables needed to be wiped down and left over food containers were all over. It just seems like they could’ve had a staff member keeping things tidy. The staff in general was unfriendly and disengaged. I stood in line for 25 min to check out yesterday and with no one acknowledging the line waiting at the desk. The bartender at the family pool had his earbuds in each time we ordered a drink. The grounds of this resort are beautiful and it has such potential. Our experience was unfortunate and I would not recommend this resort.

This was the perfect place to stay while we were there for the BNP Tennis! We had access to the bus that took us back and forth to the tennis pavilion and it was the perfect location to everything on the La Quinta property! Will definitely stay here again and highly recommended it.

The property was spotless, decorated nicely and everything was in perfect condition. All the ammentaties of the resort are a short walk from the townhouse. The only negative about the property is that it is just behind the pickleball courts so if you want to sleep past 7:30am there is noise from the courts. The townhouse does sleep 6 people but that configuration is 4 people in one room (queen bed with two Murphy beds).
